Cricket Format Guide
In Bangladesh, cricket is more than a sport — it is a passion. On 865bet you can bet on cricket's three main formats as well as The Hundred.
T20
Each team plays 20 overs and a match usually finishes in 3 to 4 hours. BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup — ideal for quick results and exciting markets.
ODI (One-Day)
A 50-over match that runs through the day. ICC World Cup and bilateral series offer many betting markets.
Test
Five-day cricket — a game of strategy and patience. Experienced bettors prefer session-based markets and match winner markets.
The Hundred
England's newer format — each team plays 100 balls. It is faster than T20 and is growing in popularity among younger fans.
Popular leagues: BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), BBL (Big Bash League), PSL (Pakistan Super League).

Football Betting
Football fans in Bangladesh closely follow everything from European leagues to international tournaments. 865bet offers betting on the world's top football including the Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Home win, draw or away win — the simplest market.
Bet on two results at once — lower risk.
Whether the total goals in a match will be above or below a set number.
BTTS — whether both teams will score at least one goal.
The weaker team is given a goal advantage to level the market.
Markets change in real time while the match is in progress — excitement doubled.
Keep in mind: many major European matches kick off between midnight and 3 AM in Bangladesh time (BST, UTC+6).
How to read odds?
Understanding odds makes smart betting much easier. 865bet generally uses decimal odds, which are the most familiar to Bangladeshi players.
Decimal odds example
You placed a ৳500 bet at odds of 1.80.
If you win, you receive: ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900 (profit ৳400).
These odds mean the probability of the outcome is approximately 55.6%.
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | Total return of ৳1.80 per ৳1 staked |
| Fractional | 4/5 | Win 4 for every 5 staked |
| American | -125 | Stake ৳125 to win ৳100 profit |
Tip for beginners: start with decimal odds — simple to calculate and the most straightforward to understand.

Bankroll Management Guide
Smart betting is not just about understanding good odds — managing how much you wager is equally important. Following the guidelines below will keep the experience enjoyable over the long term.
- Set a budget: Each month, set aside only the amount you can afford to lose without it affecting your household. Think of it as entertainment spending.
- Divide into sessions: Split your monthly budget into weeks or days. Instead of spending the entire budget in one day, play in smaller sessions.
- The 1–5% rule per bet: Never stake more than 5% of your total bankroll on a single bet. This helps you avoid large losses.
- Stop after a win: After a big win, set a target — if you have won a certain amount, end the session and withdraw your profit.
- Take a break after losses: If you lose 3–5 bets in a row, stop the session. Increasing your bets out of emotion typically leads to bigger losses.
- Keep a record of your play: Write down when you played and how much you won or lost. This helps you understand patterns and make better decisions.
